October 31, 2017 - Big Scores from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Ideology Cellars is excited to share news of top scores from Robert Parker’s, the Wine Advocate! Our soon-to-be released 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate and 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve join the 90+ club with 93 points and 95 points respectively. Typical of the extraordinary 2015 vintage, these wines offer an easy accessibility to enjoy now, with a solid structure to develop if cellared for another 15+ years.

  Ideology Cellars is a proud member of the NVV and we'll be at the Barrel auction from 11-4 pm with 10 cases of wine for 10 winning bidders! The mission of the Napa Valley Vintner's (NVV), annual community fundraiser, Auction Napa Valley, is to use the worldwide reputation of Napa Valley wines to enhance the well-being of the Napa County community. To date, the NVV has invested more than $150 million in Napa County’s nonprofit organizations.   Celebrating its fifth year, Flavor! Napa Valley provides the finest in farm-to-table cuisine, world-class wines and culinary star talent. • February 20, 2016 - Premiere Napa Valley Barrel Auction, St. Helena, CA - Lot #48! #PNV16
  After such a successful showing of our 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon in barrel, Ideology Cellars will be at Premiere Napa Valley with our Lot #48 ~ five cases of 100% 2014 estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon from a single barrel that was produced solely for Premiere Napa Valley!  Premiere Napa Valley is the must-attend wine industry event of the year attracting top trade from around the globe, many of whom use Premiere week as a time to focus on their Napa Valley wine business. This year's auction will take place on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the CIA!  See you there!

• February 19, 2016 -  Oak Knoll District In the House! Premiere Napa Valley, St. Helena, CA #PNV16
  Here is a brilliant way to kick off the best weekend in Napa Valley because Ideology Cellars will be there! - the Oak Knoll Vintners' Premiere Napa Valley Welcome Reception. Join the OKD vintners as we toast Premiere Napa Valley 2016 and welcome our Premiere attendees to our beautiful Napa Valley as we bring our renowned Oak Knoll District wines to the festivities.  Enjoy the OKD's beautiful, aromatic white wines and Chardonnays partnered with Tomales Bay oysters, and the OKD's elegant red wines and PNV barrel samples with North Coast cheeses and hearty hors d'oeuvres. • October 10th, 2013 - Ideology Supports the BlackRock SF Giving Days - Half Moon Bay, CA
  Benefitting the 49ers Foundation, the Seventh Annual BlackRock San Francisco Giving Days will have a handful of wineries hosting their event and Ideology Cellars is one of them!  Dedicated to supporting BlackRock's philanthropic commitment to our community, while increasing connectivity among employees and valued BlackRock business partners, this event proudly raised over $900,000 last year. Ideology is proud to be a part of this event we look forward to supporting the 49ers Foundation.

• September 9th, 2013 - Harvest has begun!  Our Chardonnay has begun its journey!
  Today we brought in the first several ton of our chardonnay - and many more days to follow!  Stop by and visit and share a glass of our 2012 Blondie or Blondie Gone Wild - it's tasting great!

• July 19, 2013 - We are bottling 2012 Blondie today!

  • After a few weeks of being sold out of Blondie, we are excited to bottle our 2012 Blondie .... come join us for a glass as we will be bottling all day!

• June 15, 2013 - NASCAR bound! You can hear the roar of the engines - but first ...
  ... the roar of the lion (Ideology)!  Bob and his friends from NASCAR enjoy some time in the vineyard before the race at Infineon ...oh ... and they enjoyed a few glasses of Ideology too!

• April 15, 2013 - Beyond Budbreak!
  The Williamson Family Vineyard is soaking in the spring sunshine - we just went through bud break! Let's raise a glass (or maybe two!) to the start of the 2013 growing season! Come visit us at the winery - we willl be bottling soon - come share a glass of wine with Bob!

• February 25, 2013 - Blondie Gone Wild bottling!
  We are bottling our 2011 Blondie Gone Wild on a sunny day in Napa Valley! For all of you who are waiting for the next vintage (it has been sold out!), it is almost ready!!!

• October 19, 2012 - Happy Birthday Riley!!!
  Happy 4th Birthday to Riley! She is spending the day with Mom relaxing and playing in the pool! She recently returned from her second home in Napa Valley where she enjoyed a full week with Indy (our other family dog) and the entire family!

• October 6, 2012 - Ideology is harvesting their Cabernet today!
  We are picking today for our Estate Cabernet and our Reserve Cabernet - Come on by and taste some great wines with Bob & Joni!

• October 4, 2012 - Our Russian River Pinot Noir grapes came in today!
  We are excited about our Pinot Noir from the Russian River! We hope you will try some in the future!

• September 28, 2012 - Our chardonnay grapes were harvested today!
  Busy day at the winery as ~15 ton of our chardonnay grapes from the Red Hen Vineyard came in for crush! How exciting for the 2012 vintage - it looks to be a great one!

• January 25, 2012 - NEW Blondie label is getting bottled today!
  We are working today on the first step in introducing our new Blondie label - we are bottling it! If you would like to be the first to try our Blondie under it's new label, call us at the office (707) 226-2151 and let us know that you read our News and Events page and we will give you 20% off until the end of the month!  Remember though, we need to let "her (Blondie) rest" after bottling before sending it out to you! 

• October 26th, 2011 - Harvesting our Cabernets from the Ideology Vineyards!
  Our harvest is later this year - just like the rest of Napa Valley... but something is very different in our vineyard versus many other vineyards here in the Valley. Our grapes look great! With a Brix of 25.3, and our fabulous winemaker, we are sure to have a great vintage!  

• April 5th, 2011 - Bottling our 2008 Reds
  Stop by to join us as we bottle our 2008 Proprietary Blend, Estate Cabernet and the Reserve Block Cabernet.

• April 3rd, 2011 - 2007 Release Date!  Joni's Birthday too!
